WHAT IS THE REASON CDCFIB HAS NOT RELEASED THE EXAM RESULTS?
After the computer-based test (CBT) conducted for applicants seeking recruitment into CDCFIB, the agency released a list of screening/document verification centers for those who passed the examination.
However, the scheduled screening dates were later suspended indefinitely until further notice.
Reason for the Delay
If you recall, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu directed that police officers be withdrawn from providing security to VIPs, and this responsibility was reassigned to the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC).
As a result, the CDCFIB recruitment process has also been temporarily put on hold because the agency is seeking presidential approval to recruit about 30,000 Civil Defence officers to fill the gap created by this directive.
So far, official approval has not yet been granted. However, if approval is given, there is a possibility that more than 50,000 personnel could be recruited across CDCFIB.
